The Compass Outdoor Adventures's Guides have the right to amend the activity schedule/plan in order to carry out the activity safely, always taking into account factors and/or risks that might be in effect or have a probability to be in effect at the specific day and time
In case a participant compromises their personal safety and/or that of the team,and/or that the equipment, and/or that of the activity itself, the Guide(s) reserves the right, at their absolute discretion, to exempt them from continuing with the activity.
The chosen activity has some prerequisites regarding the clothing and shoes. Some are optional and some mandatory. In case the participant(s) show up without the required shoes, as those are described in the present document, the Guides reserve the right to refuse their participation to the activity, without this creating a ground for any compensation request. Activity Schedule Change by the Participants
In no case and by no means is the amendment of the activity plan by the participant(s), as this is indicated by the Guide (date, number of participants, etc.), acceptable nor the attempt to change the course without the written approval and acceptance of the Compass Outdoor Adventures agency. It is forbidden to be distanced to the group and walk away in different directions from those indicated by the Guide of the office.

Activities – Activity Details
The selected activity’s features include, start time, distance, type of terrain, degree of difficulty, and estimated time of completion. All time estimates have been calculated under good conditions (weather etc.), for a party of four (4) people plus the 1-2 Guide(s) provided by the agency. and they include short breaks for photos, water and/or some resting time. Thus, there might be deviations in the total duration of the activity which will affect its completion time, either upwards or downwards. In case the activity lasts longer than expected, there are no additional charges if the additional time (from the estimated “completion time”) is 40 minutes or lower. In case the additional time (from the estimated “completion time”) is more than 40 minutes, then there is an additional charge per additional hour, depend the Activity.
Personal Belongings
Agency Compass Outdoor Adventures is not responsible for the loss, destruction (partial or total) of the participants’ personal belongings during the activity. Safekeeping and good maintenance of the participants’ personal belongings relies solely on the participants themselves. During water related activities (e.g. Rafting) all electronic devices should be kept in their waterproof cases.
Declaration of Health Conditions/Issues/Problems
To become eligible to participate in an activity, the participant(s) need to be in a good physical condition, without any health conditions that could compromise their ability to react during difficult/demanding/urgent/surprise conditions. If a participant suffers from a health condition (e.g. allergy) they are obliged to declare it in the present form and to notify the agency and/or the agency’s Guide, so their eligibility to participate in the activity can be reviewed. This is crucial for the participants’, the team’s and the guide’s safety. Signing of the present application (“APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES”) without the declaration/mention of any health conditions, means that both the signing participant and their children mentioned in the present document are in good health, and thus all responsibility lies with them should something arise.
Although we have cautiously curated a selection routes that all participants can safely enjoy, we are aware that all outdoor excursions entail the risk of an accident and of unexpected situations, thus it is crucial that all participants are aware of that, since their participation to these excursions requires their acknowledgement and acceptance of such risks. It is important to highlight that the travel agency Compass Outdoor Adventures does not provide any accident insurance, neither to the participants nor to their children whom they signed up to participate, and this should be taken seriously into account when deciding to take part in the excursion(s) or not. In case of an accident caused by the participants' own mistake, action or omission, they can not and will not hold accountable the travel agency, as they have been informed of the terms and conditions and signed them, fully acknowledging and accepting them. Participants’ should have their personal health and life insurance plans (but is not mandatory for participantion in the activity), as such an insurance is not part of services offered by the travel agency Compass Outdoor Adventures. Travel agency Compass Outdoor Adventures provides all participants with the required protective gear, and its responsibility is limited to this.
To become eligible to participate in the activity of your choice, participant(s) need to sign the present document (before to start the activity) and to pay in full the associated fee of the selected activity. In case the payment is done via bank transfer, it is presumed that the participant(s) have become aware of the present document (terms and conditions) and have accepted all its terms, as well as the activity plan.
It is very important that you tell the truth to our office so that we can take the appropriate measures and precautions to protect you in the event of an emergency. For example if you don't know how to swim, don't hide it, you are putting yourself in a very big risk and we will not have taken the proper precautions
Always remember that the agency's Guide wants you to get the best possible experience and enjoy the activity with great safety.
